Shane McAnally and Trevor Rosen and was produced by Jimmy Ritchey.
I met a girl
She made me smile, she made me wait
She crossed the street, she crossed my
heart
She fixed her dress, she bit her lip,
she let me up
I met a girl with crazy shoes and baby
blues
The way she moves is changing my whole
world
I met a girl
The sunshine waits for her to wake up,
She’s a pony tail no make-up saturday
She don’t need umbrellas in the summer
rain, she could catch the eye of a hurricane
In blue jeans and pearls

Altcountry Americana Folk
Christina Kulukundis is a folk-alt-country
songwriter and singer. She lives at the foot of Bredon Hill, Pershore,
Worcestershire , England with her little family, two dogs and two ponies.
Her
band includes Ben Church (guitar, banjo, dobro & harmonica) and Pete Bryden
(bass guitar, piano, Hammond organ) and Christina has been writing and playing
music together for the past four years.
Newbie

(co-written with B Church/ P Bryden) made a #24 entry on the Hotdisc top 40 on Feb 8, 2015 and it

Though
born and raised in London, she spent summers at her grandparents place in
Upstate New York, a mountainous region of the East Coast of America. Here the country sound started to seep in.
“When
you move down to the countryside from a big smoke city like London, your
perspective, as you may know yourself, get distinctly oblique” she shared. She
wrote the song four years after finding herself living in a tiny sleepy
village.

Ella Mae Bowen
“Keep Tryin’” - “Very nice sound to it, I thought that was
lovely” - Marie
Crichton BBC Radio Shropshire
Walhalla, South
Carolina native Ella Mae Bowen has been captivating audiences in
Nashville and beyond for a few years now.
After beginning
to write songs aged just 7, she moved to Music City as a teenager and played
the Grand Ole Opry for the first time in 2011.
Since then she
has picked up fans in Keith Urban, Hunter Hayes, Emmylou Harris and many more,
winning at the 2014 International Songwriting Competition.
Of the nearly
20,000 entries from 120 countries “This Is What It Feels Like” has won First
Prize in the Unsigned Artist category and “His Name Was Sam” received honorable
mention in the Best Country Song category of the 2013 International Songwriting
Competition (ISC).
She got her
cover of >> "Holding Out For A Hero" on the Footloose
soundtrack (Released Oct, 2011 Amazon UK ) all as an unsigned artist and
songwriter.
In fact, she
was the only unsigned artist on the whole album, but it didn’t stop the song
from receiving nearly 6 million views on YouYube.
GACTV.com Review - The most strikingly different take is on “Holding Out For A Hero,”
originally cut as a disco/pop song. Here, 15-year-old South Carolina native
Ella Mae Bowen sings well beyond her years with a touch of Tori Amos in her
tender voice, accompanied by only an acoustic guitar and accordion on her slow,
wishful version. Recent Big Machine Label Group signee, 15 year old Ella Mae
Bowen debuts on the soundtrack with her take on “Holding Out For A Hero,” a
song Bonnie Tyler took to #2 in 1985. Ella Mae certainly showcases a strong
voice that fits the emotion of the song.
After releasing
her self-titled EP she continued to play around town and earlier this
year signed with CTM Writers INK Music Publishing.
This led to her
cut on Reba McEntire’s album, for
the song ‘I’ll Go On’ (co-written
with Tommy Lee James)....
