New on The Show

Rhett Walker Band

“Here’s To The Ones” -“It’s really contemporary and great to dance to” - Marie Crichton BBC Radio Shropshire

Genre:  Southern Rock
Members: Rhett Walker, Kenny Davis,Joe Kane, Kevin Whitsett
Hometown: Nashville, TN   Current Location: Nashville, TN
Influences: Faith, Family, Country

Rhett Walker Band is a Southern rock and Christian rock band from Nashville, Tennessee. The band is composed of Rhett Walker (vocals), Kenny Davis (drums) and Joe Kane (guitar).
The band's debut single "When Mercy Found Me" was a Grammy nominated song.
The band released their debut studio album under the Essential Records label on July 10, 2012 called COME TO THE RIVER.
Rhett Walker is not like any rising Christian musician you have met before or will meet again soon. The outspoken 25-year-old son of a preacher was born and raised around the South, his mellow yet animated voice a sure mix of Georgia and the Carolinas. In that drawl, he tells an intense wild oats story tempered by God’s grace, a testimony that fuels the deep-fried rock and deep- down worship on Rhett Walker Band’s debut, Come To The River....Read more
Their new single is being promoted by Grass Roots Promotions. The Southern rockers who performed at the renowned Grand Ole Opry in July will be releasing the new album, 'Here's To The Ones' in October.

Wild Ponies

“Things That Used To Shine” - “I happen to think the title track is the best” - Marie Crichton BBC Radio Shropshire

Genre: Americana, Folk, Alt-Country
Members: Doug, Telisha  Williams
Record label: Ditch Dog Records
Current Location: East Nashville

Wild Ponies run the gamut of styles from folk to Americana to alt-country, stepping deftly from easygoing swing to Crazy Horse-ish rattle-and-thump to the plaintive sentimentality of traditional twangin’ country (which has little in common with Nashville’s silky-smooth version of the same)
The band is built around the Virginia-born brother-sister duo of Doug and Telisha Williams, with Jake Winebrenner on drums and a number of backing musicians. Sweet-voiced Telisha also plays bass and keyboards, while Doug sings on a few tracks and contributes guitar. A capable stable of musicians fleshes out their sonic palette, but the defining factor in most of these songs is the voice, either Telisha’s sweet, slightly wistful tones or Doug’s more rugged, straightforward delivery.....Read More Album Review
Dead right, honest songwriting delivered in a hauntingly beautiful yet gritty, neo-traditional Americana wrapper. Doug and Telisha, now residing in the new Bohemian Mecca of East Nashville, write songs about a place where old time religion, superstition, run down bars, gravel parking lots and boarded up factories all mingle together.
Their release, “GHOST OF THE KNOXVILLE GIRL”, received wide critical acclaim, and spent 15 weeks in the Americana
Music Association Top 40 Radio Chart, landing a spot as one of the top 100 Americana Albums of 2010.
Written during a busy year on the road, THINGS THAT USED TO SHINE is an album about leaving somethings behind…and meeting others head-on. It’s also the studio debut of Wild Ponies. Released by the band’s newly formed independent label, DitchDog Records, Things That Used To Shine finds Telisha opening up about the skeletons that have haunted her closet for years. Grammy-winning producer Ray Kennedy (Steve Earle, LucindaWilliams) recorded the album’s 12 songs in three days.

Watch them perform the title cut "Things That Used to Shine" live.

Kaylee Rutland

“Good Day To Get Gone” -  “Really good uptempo, gets better with the more you listen to it, catchy little track” - Marie Crichton BBC Radio Shropshire

Here’s what the producer had to say...“I have had the opportunity to work, write and produce Kaylee.  Her ideas and creativity shined in our sessions, and she was always prompt with a smile.  Not only did Kaylee help create, write and sing a slew of strong songs, she held her own in the room with hit writers and musicians throughout the recording process.”  Megan Conner, Songwriter/Producer – Shapiro Bernstein, NYC and Nashville.

Singles: The single “Into the Circle” (feat. Jamie O'Neal & Colt Ford) was released Jun 26, 2013 (Amazon UKCD Baby - US iTunes ) The official video >> "Into the Circle" has received over 1.47 million views. This song was inspired by my dream of one day stepping "into the circle" at the historic Grand Ole Opry, in Nashville, Tennessee, where so many great country artists have performed.  The Pop/Country single What We'll Do For Love” Amazon.UK came out Sep 30, 2013. this was followed by the fun uptempo and spunky "My Man" self released on Nov 15, 2013 - Amazon UK

She was named as one of 10 Country Artists to Watch in 2014 by Billboard 615 Picks (by Chuck Dauphin) who wrote:
Typically, teenage acts don't necessarily blow us away, but this native Texan is a little different. Her debut single is called "Into The Circle," and is a tribute to the world famous Grand Ole Opry, and she shows plenty of promise on the track. She's contemporary – but has one ear planted towards the heritage of the format!

Kaylee is currently attending college in Nashville studying music business.

On July 29, 2014 she released a new 5 tracks EP titled GOOD DAY TO GET GONE (KRM Records) the title cut is being promoted by Grass Roots Promotions via Play MPE and across Europe on the August #188 Hotdisc promotional disc making its debut at No.18 on the Hotdisc Top 40 (Chart Aug 10, 2014).
