Farewell Angelina
“Hillbilly 401K”
The single “Hillbilly 401K” (in2une Nashville / Dreamlined Entertainment Group) was sent to country radio on Feb 8, 2016 with an impact Date: March 14, 2016

Signed to award-winning songwriter/producer Keith Stegall’s Dreamlined Entertainment, Farewell Angelina is an all-female country group which features Nicole Witt, Andrea Young, Elizabeth Elkins and Lisa Torres. The original trio added the well-known harmony vocalist and solo singer Torres in late 2014. Their chemistry as writers and creative drive all combined with their dynamic stage show brought the industry out and soon Jen Ketner and Keith Stegall (Zac Brown Band, Aaron Watson, Alan Jackson) were recording some tracks with the band. The band has had cuts on albums by artists like George Strait, Lee Brice and Billy Currington and their instrumental and vocal talents also have appeared on albums for artists like Trace Adkins, Jana Kramer, Frankie Balard, and Jason Aldean.
Elkins described the songwriting process for Queens of Country:
"It was when [my family] moved to Alabama that I first heard people refer to the lottery as the "redneck 401k". I brought that idea up in a songwriting session in Nashville...and my co-writer Jon McElroy suggested it might be more fun as "Hillbilly 401k".

Michelle Knopick
“Fairytales” – “I like the sound of this lady…I think it’s really good…Yeah I think it’s great” - Marie Crichton BBC Radio Shropshire

Michelle is from a small town in Southeast Kansas called Independence.
Her style has been described as a "contemporary country sound with a 1950's vintage look"
She is currently attending Belmont University and will receive her Bachelors of Arts studying Commercial Voice and Music business in 2016. She is currently a senior and planning to guaduate in August 2016.
She has been working year in and year out to pursue her music career not only in the states but Internationally as well.
Michelle's style has been referred to as a neo pop bluegrass kind of sound. She has been seen on the hit ABC show 'Nashville', and CMT's Top 20 Countdown.
"However, in God's time and perseverance one of my biggest dreams came true on Feb 12, 2016.

I was featured on one of the most famed country music radio stations WSM 650 AM, the home of the Grand Ole Opry," said Knopick in the Daily Reporter. The morning show with BillCody the station featured her new single "Fairytales".
This song is about hope and love. It was written alone with her and her guitar after a breakup. Although they weren't ever technically together, she states that it had felt like it was official and he had all the benefits of being official – “So many stories in this day and age are like this everyday. You go along dating the same person for a while but when you bring it up or mention "What is this" then you never hear from them again or they say they just want things the way they are. "Fairytales is about how people are sick of this trend and just want something real but have lost hope." If you get tired of the person or its not becoming easy anymore, a lot of people just move on or start sleeping around creating this merry go round effect. This song is for those lost and lonely souls who need some inspiration and hope. Not on your time but on God's time he will bring you the right one. "God is just working extra hard on mine" :)

Blair Lane
“My Whole World” – “It’s not quite you expect it leaves a bit of punch at the end..a clever twist, that was rather good- Marie Crichton BBC Radio Shropshire

Lane has spent his entire life making music in one form or another, first as a drummer, then as a bassist and guitarist, and later, as a music student at a distinguished stateside university before arriving as a gifted and highly versatile singer/songwriter and independent recording artist.
Described as an acclaimed singer-songwriter Blir is a country artists with a gospel soul, a versatility reflected in two independent albums.

Raised the son of a preacher man, country singer songwriter Blair Lane grew up bouncing from one small Newfoundland town to the next. His musical life has been a gradual evolution from a gospel infused home to flirtations with teenage rock to his present love of contemporary country.
In 2009 Blair released his first recording, “Only One”. The Album, recorded at Beech Creek Studios in Nashville, TN, consisted of eleven original gospel songs. In 2010, he returned to Nashville for sessions that resulted in 2013’s “When Life Gets In The Way of Living”. This second album was a collection of life experience songs that were mainly in the country/pop genre.
The song “Only One” placed in the top ten in the gospel category of the 2009 International Songwriting Competition and the top 30 in the songwriting competition of The Gospel Music Association of Canada. “When Life Gets in the Way of Living” was nominated for Music NL’s 2014 Country Album of the Year and the title tack was played in heavy rotation on local country radio.

“Someone To Take Your Place” - “I Like her” - Marie Crichton BBC Radio Shropshire

In Oct 2015 BMLG signed Pigeon Forge, TN singer-songwriter Tara Thompson to its Valory Music Co. imprint.
East Tennessee native Thompson is signed to a joint venture songwriting deal with Big Machine Music and Spoon’s Tunes Publishing.
BMLG President & CEO Scott Borchetta commented, “Tara has all the ingredients I’ve been looking for in a modern traditional country artist.

A blood relative to the one and only Loretta Lynn, her tell-all and attitude-filled songwriting and feisty personality are going to crash through the stereotypes and knock down radio stations and beer joints coast to coast. A Tootsie’s World-Famous Orchid Lounge alum, country girls across the USA are on the eve of getting a new hero. Get ready for Tara Thompson.”

Thompson, who performed during a BMLG showcase weekend at Dollywood in late September, officially joined an artist roster that included Brantley Gilbert, Thomas Rhett, The Mavericks, Eli Young Band, RaeLynn and Levi Hummon.
I am so grateful to Scott Borchetta for taking a chance on a hillbilly singer from East Tennessee,” added Tara. “Scott, George Briner, and the Valory/Big Machine staff are the best in the business, and I am thrilled to be a part of such a badass team! This is literally a dream come true!” Watch Tara performing “Someone To Take Your Place” (>> Lyric version)

Hege Brynildsen
“Lay Your Burden Down” - “Just listen for yourself I think she is terrific…it’s just wonderful..hint of Jessi Colter meets Dolly Parton” - Marie Crichton BBC Radio Shropshire

The garrison town of Halden, strategically located on the Swedish border, is associated by many with "singing at the border", newly restored Americans and rånere in reconditioned Volvos. Fortunately, Halden has far more to offer with recording studios, musicians and an active music scene. The recordings at Athletic Sound on this third album were produced by Goran Pellegrini (Paal Plata, Chip Taylor,) with ten songs entirely written by Hege Brynildse. Musicians include Fats Kaplin (Jack White) plays pedal steel guitar, dobro, fiddle, mandolin and banjo, Omar Østli (guitars), Finn Tore Tokle (bass), Goran Allegrini (keyboards) and Tor Hauge (drums).
In recent years, Hege Brynildsen demonstrated that she is not only a songwriter with an entirely separate poetic nerve and a superior country-soul voice, she has also enthralled audiences in a series of concert settings with a stage performance that is second to songs in originality.

Hege marks her latest chapter in her recording career as one that will see her song writing gain new levels of respect because ‘When My Man Comes To Town’ is a truly wonderful achievement. - Famous Last Words Records
Some 12 twelve years ago she discovered bluegrass via Parton album The Grass is Blue (1999) and Little Sparrow (2001), the warmth and authenticity of these discs was something that really struck her.
Her 2012 project Hege was of the firm view that the album should not have more than ten songs and therefore she has spent time cutting disc its down to limited perfection consisting of eight own songs and two very, very well-chosen covers; Amos Milburn's 1950 song about alcohol's devastating consequences, "Bad bad Whiskey" and Geraint Watkins (pianist for Nick Lowe) beautiful "Only a Rose".

After two fan-funded studio recordings, BEYOND THE RAIN, produced by Compass Records co-founder and GRAMMY-winning banjoist Alison Brown, is Quiles & Cloud’s debut record with the label. Red Sky July are a London based trio comprised of husband and wife Ally McErlaine (guitarist from 15 million-selling band Texas) and Shelly Poole (Alisha’s Attic), with Charity Hair (The Alice Band and latterly The Ailerons, with Blur’s Dave Rowntree). Red Sky July’s sound is a hazy blend of Alt-Country and Americana and the band have supported many prestigious artists such as Sheryl Crow, 10CC, Tom Jones and Jools Holland, playing major festivals including T in the Park, Isle of Wight and Glastonbury.

On 17 Jan they released a >> new video for “The Truth And The Lie” the title cut from an album to be released 25th March 2016 on Shadowbirds Records.

The single to be released 12th February 2016 . The new album is described as a set “of moving, uplifting songs covering subjects such as love, life, death and everything in between”.

Lyrically the album is both considered and deeply personal. The title track is “about the delicious and excruciating feeling of being in love with your best friend (the truth) and trying to hide it (the lie), daydreaming about how that first kiss would be, and the lust and longing for something more.” The band are unafraid to be open and honest about their life experiences, fears, hopes and doubts. The album was recorded in the band’s own studio, where they were joined in the studio by twice Grammy nominated, Nashville based singer songwriter Beth Nielsen Chapman (Elton John, Neil Diamond, Willie Nelson).
2014’s ‘Shadowbirds’ came straight in at No. 3 in the UK Country Charts, with Maverick describing it as “a beautiful slice of alt-country showcasing sunny songs and gorgeous harmonies. 5/5”
