Swift proved adept at capturing revenue from every angle this year, earning a whopping $39,699,575.60. Fuelled by 2012's "Red," the singer's album sales were eighth among all of Billboard's Money Makers, while on the digital front she sold nearly 10 million downloads, ranking sixth, and fifth in streaming royalties -- tops in country music. Revenue from six months of touring the United States on the Red Tour tops all fellow money makers with an estimated take of $30 million. Boxscore. The tour also boasted lucrative sponsorships (Keds, Elizabeth Arden, Diet Coke) and a ravaged merch table, which averaged $17 per head. Amelia White
"Goodbye Tonight" - I think you're going to enjoy it - Marie Crichton BBC Radio Shropshire

Beautiful Pop/ Americana
Raised In Virginia, and based in Nashville, Amelia White cut her musical teeth in the New England area, in the same scene that produced Mary Gauthier, Lori McKenna, and Aimee Mann.
Her music has been described as hard rocking-folkin-alt-art country. Her albums BLUE SOUVENIRS and BLACK DOVES (funzalo Records 2006) put her on the map with critical acclaims nationwide.
"The songs come out of me hard and heavy-- regularly. They walk the line between Neo Folk, raw well made rock, and rootsy pop. They have a lot of heart, and a good dose of intellect, and every few songs have a political and social consciousness....sometimes you have to listen twice to get em, though some can easily grab hold of you like an old Hank Williams. Some call them Indie Country, some Americana, Some Folk Rock. To me they are the stories of my life and love and what I see in my friends eyes, strangers stories” she shares. Read more about her on her Website Bio

Home, history and family take different shapes on her album Old Postcard released on March 4, 2014. Over steadily propulsive drums and echoing guitars, the album’s title track finds White looking back at the ghosts of her family, realizing that dreams that don't come true are still dreams after all.
Old Postcard features "haunting" melodies, something White, often compared to Lucinda Williams, embraces. "There's definitely some ghosts floating around in this album," she told USA Today

“Ain't It Funny” - This lady is fabulous, released this week from Glasgow singer-songwriter, all sorts of music some folk lovely ballads, really is quality, just what we need for UK Country music, I think she's great. Making her debut, all written by her, original music -  Marie Crichton BBC Radio Shropshire
“Get Gone” - Really catchy tune and a lovely voice, really nice singer-songwriter Marie Crichton BBC Radio Shropshire

Stephanie started writing songs in 2008. Her music is kind of a cross over between folk and country.

Her first gig was opening for Joan Armatrading after only having done a few open mics.
Released a 5 track EP Sweethearts & Angels (Monograph Records) on 8th Sept 2012 with a launch at the Jersey Opera House.

Described by Maverick Magazine (on their website) as "Glasgow's gifted Newcomer" "A singer-songwriter with the raw talent, and sure promise of future success. Her sound is the sound of tomorrow..."

Manns’ brand of Americana is littered in subtle changes in direction of a music that is simple, effective and at same time innovativeAmericana UK (See Review)

Manns started her musical career in Jersey becoming a regular on the acoustic music scene (Forming her own band Eskimo Clan) . Since being in Glasgow Stephanie has played Scottish Folk Festival Celtic Connections and such venues as King Tuts and The Arches. Manns' style ranges from playfully wistful tunes to the melancholic heartbreak that strikes at the core of country musicians.
The 10 track album COME CLOSER, out March 1st 2014, was recorded, mixed and mastered with Graeme Duffy (from legendary 80’s/90’s band ‘Wet Wet Wet’) at Motherwell-based Foundry Music Lab studios .

JetSet Getset
"the music is fantastic the lead singer has such a beautiful voice, one of my highlights of the evening"..I think that's so beautifully written, and I think the way it's sung is great, not over produced you can hear every word I think it's a very nice quality release” – Marie Crichton BBC Radio Shropshire

Genre: Country/Pop
Location: Dearborn County, Indiana / Nashville, Tennessee
Jetset Getset (JSGS) is a dynamic country music group comprised of mostly teenagers.
Recognized by the Country Music Association among "Who New to Watch" in 2013, Jetset Getset has a style that Music Connection Magazine described as "sprightly country twang." The UK country DJ and former CMA International Broadcaster Award winner Brian Clough called Jetset Getset a "brilliant fresh slice of across the board country sounds."

The group consist of: Tori Little (vocals), Avery Eliason (vocals), Jason Owens (lead guitar), Justen Jette (rhythm guitar), Paul Kelley (bass guitar), Gillian Bowman (drums) and Terry Ranck (keyboards; the only adult who performs with Jetset Getset on a regular basis)
They began in 2011 when music teacher-turned-manager Kelli Jette decided to assemble a young group to perform primarily for fun at local fairs and festivals. At first, singers Tori Little and Avery Eliason sang to prerecorded Karaoke tracks, but as their popularity grew, the girls and their manager, Kelli Jette, decided to add a band and begin performing original songs.
Their newest radio release offers a message of hope to bullying victims and others who have been put down or picked on. “Stronger (Than You Seem),” from the album “Saturday Night” (Playback Records), is already being used by PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center in Bloomington, Minnesota, as part of a bullying prevention program in schools.

Kalisa Ewing
Location: Nashville, United States
Label: Universal Music Publishing Group, KingSpirit Music
Kalisa Ewing @KalisaEwing Songwriter, nerd, finger snapper, ninja kisser, Sagittarius, insomniac, caffeine junkie, doodler, a bird, a dog, clingy, crazy, happy, sad, good, bad. Sup?

Co-wrote “Where Did Your Love Go” with Rivers Rutherford recorded by Kellie Pickler on her Black River debut THE WOMAN I AM,  which reflects back on the first time of falling in love.

Kalisa grew up in the country just outside Nashville where, at age 11, she picked up a guitar and penned her first song. She credits her insatiable passion for music to her grandfather, who died of heart problems just after she was born. Kalisa’s grandfather, Owen McCarty, was a blind musician who moved to Nashville to fulfill his dreams as an artist in Music City.
Like her grandfather, Kalisa continued to search for a home in music. She took guitar lessons and began writing poetry to sharpen her songwriting skills.
Fast-forward through years of odd-end jobs and dead-end promises, Kalisa met industry veteran, Todd Wilkes, who recognized her unparalleled talent and opted to publish her independently. Under the helm of Wilkes and Kent Earls (Universal Music), Kalisa became the first co-venture of Wilkes’ company, KingSpirit Music, and signed a publishing deal with Universal Music Publishing Group.
“One of my songs, ‘Redemption,’ is about everything that I've had to learn the hard way through the years. That’s the kind of real stories that I hope connect with people. >> "Redemption" (YouTube)
When asked about some of her biggest influences as tunesmiths, she cites Loretta Lynn, Willie Nelson, and  Patty Loveless as favorites, citing her 1994 Tony Arata gem “Here I Am” as a favorite “I’m still trying to write me a here I am…i haven’t done it yet!
The 25 year old Kalisa made her Grand Ole Opry debut on May 31st 2013

According to her website she is now living in London back doing mostly solo acoustic gigs in some of the most popular unsigned live music venues such as the Bedford, The Regal Rooms, The Troubadour, 100 Club, Borderline and Barfly.

On Sunday Feb 16 she announced she's off to Nashville!
