New on The Show

Scott Brantley
“Good Thing Going” – “A very strong song” - Marie Crichton BBC Radio Shropshire

Scott is a country music singer/songwriter based in Georgia.
Signed a publishing deal with Studio Gold Nashville.
2012 Texaco Country Showdown State Winner

"Ain't No Life I'd Rather Live...Than This Country Life I Live"- Lyrics that perfectly describe this pure country boy from middle Georgia. Scott Brantley comes from a musically gifted family that is deeply rooted in its music, relationships and resolve. The gift of such talent handed down to him simply couldn't be ignored, and he has fully embraced the charge of delivering this gift to the masses. With inspirations like George Strait, Keith Whitley, Merle Haggard & Alan Jackson, Scott has a devout focus on taking his music career head-on.

Scott is also the accomplished songwriter, and has collaborated with some of Nashville's best: Jimmy Yeary, Carson Chamberlain, Mike Dekle, Bernie Nelson, & Wade name a few. And he's no stranger to the big stage, as he's headlined some of the major venues in the southeast...and has shared the show with some of country's best, such as Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Craig Morgan, Jamey Johnson, Darryl Worley, Jerrod Niemann, Tracy Lawrence...and many others.
His vocals are sweet; his writing style as simplistic as “Love Without End, Amen”, his musical stories as chilling in faint semblance as Keith Whitley’s “Don’t Close Your Eyes.” A sound that is blind to generational appeal and significant in music contribution, Scott is “GOOD” for the soul (young and old) and just in time to bring “Country-Country” back where it belongs.
His debut single “Good Thing Going” was released to radio October 21, 2015 (Impact Date: Nov 16). It was written by Brantley himself along with his brother David Brantley and good friend Trent Jeffcoat.
Good Thing Going sums up the old dating advice that opposites sometimes do attract. The verses are complete with catchy comparisons, like the opening line, "She’s all yogurt and granola, I’m scrambled eggs and cheese." These witty verses lead up to the simple, yet get-stuck-in-your-head choruses focusing on what a good thing going they have. Scott hopes listeners will love the beat and feel of this song.
Watch Scott Brantley and the Big Cooler Crew performing >> 'Good Thing Going' on stage at the Georgia Mountain Fair in Hiawassee, GA. Saturday, July 19, 2014.
