- I think it’s really nice, between
contemporary and traditional, just the way we like it...very strong song, a
hint of John Berry, very nice song from him -

Marcum Stewart
is a Recording Artist & Songwriter for Otter Rapids Music (SESAC) in
Nashville, TN.
Originally from
Huntington, WV, Marcum Stewart started playing piano at the early age of 4,
began writing songs at the age of 12, and taught himself how to play Guitar at
age 15. He was in several bands before moving to Nashville, including one in
Huntington with well-known Nashville songwriter/artist Rick Huckaby called
Southern Knights.
Marcum moved to
Nashville, TN in 1994 to pursue a career as a songwriter/producer. Early in his
career he was the Catalog anager/Tape Room Guy for two publishing companies in
town (Island Bound Music & Rick Hall Music). Along with tape copy, he was
assistant engineer to Island Bound Studio's house engineer at the time, Luke
Wooten.
In 95 & 96
he joined a country songwriters group that Brenda Cline put together called the
"Young Riders" which comprised of himself, Rachel Proctor, Kenny
Horton & Tom Wurth.
Marcum never
claimed to be a singer nor had the desire to be a performer, but joined a local
rock band in '98 called Seven Stories High which ended up becoming Subsonic to
play Rhythm Guitar, but they lacked a singer. Marcum stepped in and sang for
them. In 2003 that same band had a deal on the table with Wind-Up Records which
ultimately fell through.
Through a couple
other attempts with Rock bands (Tragedy Kings & Bluecollar Suicide), Marcum
eventually went back to his roots & love of Country.
For a little
over 2 years he was in the duo with Andrea Villarreal called Acklen Park, they
had some chart success with their song "Great American Song" which
peaked at #48, had a video on TCN and gained thousand of fans on Facebook &
Twitter.
Marcum began focusing
more on his songwriting career and signed with Dan Hodges Music in 2012.
His new album released
Oct 28, 2014 titled PUT IT IN DRIVE (Otter
Rapids Music) is available on Amazon UK, UK iTunes and Amazon.com and
is being promoted via introductory single “Me
Before You”

Daisycutter is a
band of adventurous travelers from the many and varied music scenes of New
York, who combine a wide-screen city view with a bracing dose of rural realism.
Daisycutter is
the "downtown upstate" culmination of the NY musical melting pot in
action. They combine a wide-screen city view with a bracing dose of rural
realism into a searing mix of indie roots-rock and alt-country. Frontwoman/
singer/ fiddler/ songwriter Sara Milonovich has also been a highly sought-after
accompanist in the rock, folk, bluegrass, americana, and celtic music worlds,
and has performed and recorded throughout North and South America, Europe and
beyond.
Growing up on a working farm in rural upstate New York, she began
playing when she was four, and by nine was leading her own band (around the
same time she learned to drive a tractor.) After a collection of awards for
fiddling, singing, songwriting, and composing, she left school at sixteen to
hit the road with NY bluegrass band The McKrells. A diverse trajectory led her
from there through a busy career as an accompanist and collaborator with such
artists as Richard Shindell, Pete Seeger (on his Grammy-winning At 89 album),
Eliza Gilkyson, and Mountain Quickstep, among others, while simultaneously
earning a degree in Biology from Cornell.

“None of That
Now” - I think she sounds better than ever on this
new release, it’s beautiful..... beautiful voice and a lovely sound that hooks
you in, only the second time and it felt like I was listening to it all my
life” - Marie Crichton BBC Radio Shropshire
Genre: Folk
Singer/Songwriter
Hometown:
Boston, MA
"Michelle
Lewis writes happy songs that bring tears, and sad songs that evoke
smiles."
Her music is
rich with melody, and her lyrics seek beauty in the face of sadness.
Too
refined to call folk and too personal to call pop, as a
singer/songwriter Michelle’s music is uniquely intimate, and surprisingly
polished. As a storyteller, she writes intensely visual songs
that explore the emotional remainders in burgeoning and breaking relationships.
Michelle Lewis
picked up her father’s acoustic guitar at the age of 14 and quickly abandoned
interest in everything else.
She honed her
songwriting at Berklee College of Music in her hometown of Boston, and went on
to tour the United States behind her first album, This Time Around (2004). She
has been a long time collaborator with producer Anthony J. Resta (Elton John,
Duran Duran, Shawn Mullins). Their work has included the release of her Broken
(2009) and Paris (2011) EPs, and most recently her second full-length album,
The Parts Of Us That Still Remain (April 29, 2014), with songs co-written by
Nashville favorite Robby Hecht and LA sound designer Conan Skyrme.
She released a new
holiday single "In The Bleak Midwinter" on Dec 1, 2014
