SONY/RCA Nashville recording artist. His debut Self Titled 4 track EP was released May 5, 2014 available on UK iTunes

Bio: “One of my long-term goals is to keep my sound one step ahead of the rest; I want to be what everyone else is chasing,” and with that in mind, 25-year-old singer/songwriter and RCA Nashville recording artist Josh Dorr hit the ground running with a bold and ambitious mindset for the release of his 2014 major-label debut, the four-song Josh Dorr – EP.

The youngest of three brothers, Dorr grew up in a close-knit family in the resource-rich oil and coal-mining city of Gillette, Wyoming, where the wide-open fields and rolling hills also helped to fuel Dorr’s love of sports and the outdoors. Just Like A Sad Song” -  “Nice album on rootsy alt spectrum, definite melodies throughout all the tracks” Marie Crichton BBC Radio Shropshire

Genre: Alt.Country / Americana / Roots Rock
Home Town: Woodbury / Manchester, TN
Record Label: Lower 40 (USA) / Blue Rose (Europe)

The songs on his recordings, deal with existential realities that are familiar to country and city dwellers alike: redemption, heartbreak, hangovers and the loneliness of the road. Stephen’s records: Last Call, Drink Ring Jesus, Something In Between, The Blame’s On U.S., Girls, The Big Show and Hearsay (which were compared to everyone from Johnny Cash to Ryan Adams) combine virtuosic songcraft and musicianship with unparalleled artistic honesty. His work has been covered by Mojo Music, Uncut, and The Washington Post.
His most recent albums have been released by USA indie label Lower 40 Records and in Europe on Germany’s premiere roots label; Blue Rose Records.
On Oct 8th he took off for his Fall 2014 of Europe/UK Tour beginning with solo shows in The Netherlands, Norway, UK & Ireland and then meeting up with his band from Nashville in Germany for a week of shows.

Orfila

”Writing On The Wall” -  “Another great UK Family band, I think they’re really good, nice album very professional indeed, they’ve written the music themselves -  Marie Crichton BBC Radio Shropshire

Founded on May 2012
Members:
Abi Orfila-Vocals, backing vocals, piano
Louise Orfila- Vocals, backing vocals, piano, guitar,
Matt Orfila- Guitar, backing vocals, harmonica, banjo

ORFILA are an acoustic folk/pop trio consisting of siblings Abi, Louise and Matt Orfila from Folkestone in Kent. They are all accomplished musicians and songwriters in their own right.
They first performed together as a band in mid 2012 when they supported BBC Radio 2 playlist singer/songwriter Ben Montague. Originally intended to be a one off show their set of originals and covers was warmly received and even earned an encore. Later in the year they supported
UK rock band Dodgy, Canadian folk artist Andrew James O’Brien and Irish folk legend Sharon Shannon as well as performing at various charity events and open mic nights across Kent.
2013 saw the band support some major artists such as Beverly Craven and the legendary Albert Hammond. They headlined the Imperial Sounds re-launch show and earned positive reviews and played two Kent festivals in the summer; the Brightlights Festival in Maidstone and the Quiet Riot Festival in Ashford. They went on to play their first London gig; in aid of the Jimmy Mizen Foundation, a charity set up to help young people.

They have regularly appeared in local news papers and have been featured several times on BBC Radio Kent. ORFILA’s music ranges from popular covers written by groups such as Mumford and Sons, The Beatles, and Albert Hammond, to their own unique original compositions. They have their own distinctive sound with superb three part harmonies with a Folk/Country/Pop feel. They are regularly described as similar to The Corrs with a flavour of Fleetwood Mac.
They have all worked with some major artists including The Wanted, Alexandra Burke, Eliza Doolittle, Stacy Solomon, Chas Hodges (from Chas and Dave), Ben Montague, Alvin Stardust, Dodgy, Jon Allen, Sharon Shannon, Cover Drive, 911, Showaddywaddy, Beverley Craven, Liam Genockey (Steeleye Span), and Albert Hammond.
The band’s popularity is increasing and with a recently released debut album the group has a busy year planned for 2014. The highlight so far has been to perform on the main stage at one of Europe’s major summer events; The Gibraltar Music Festival, where they played alongside acts such as The Script, Rita Ora, Roger Hodgson (Supertramp), Tony Hadley (Spandau Ballet), John Newman, James Arthur, Maxi Priest, Scouting For Girls, Reef, Ella Eyre and Newton Faulkner.

“They’re Fantastic” - Beverley Craven (Musician, Singer Songwriter)
“Awesome, absolutely awesome” - Dave Cash, BBC Radio and former TV (Top of the Pops) Presenter

Doug Seegers

“There’ll Be No Teardrops Tonight”  - “Very classic sound, features Buddy Miller” -  Marie Crichton BBC Radio Shropshire

A 62 year old newbie artist made his debut on the Billboard Country Album chart at No.25 Country selling 1,900 copies of GOING DOWN TO THE RIVER (Rounder).
Seegers is a homeless street musician born in New York who lives in Nashville. Swedish music star Jill Johnson and Magnus Carlson discovered him (after a tip from a hot dog salesman) in a Nashville food pantry. The two subsequently recorded a duet that climbed to the top of the music charts in Sweden. They were very taken by his lyrics and flair for singing. So they decided to record the song GOING DOWN TO THE RIVER written by Doug Seegers in the Cash Cabin Studio.
Doug Seegers goes from street singer to global superstar ....Maybe you've passed him on a downtown sidewalk. Maybe thrown a couple bucks his way. Doug Seegers, 62, is a street singer. He's been in town for 17 years. He's been homeless and addicted. He's been singing on Second Avenue, outside The Old Spaghetti Factory, and on Charlotte Avenue, outside the Goodwill store.... Luke Daniels

“A River Runs” -  “Just like picking up a book, he gets the marks for the best CD package I’ve every received, beautiful quality paper, folk-meets-country-meets Americana” -  Marie Crichton BBC Radio Shropshire

"Intense, poetical and oft dark yet recounted through pleasing melodies. A rich tapestry has been woven into the songs; like a thoughtful unpicking and re-stitching of life’s journey." - R2 Magazine
The Guardian (3 STARS) Luke Daniels: What’s Here What’s Gone review – a thoughtful, original set (Gael Music/Proper)
Nothing that Luke Daniels has done in his illustrious 20-year career could prepare his followers for what’s coming next. The admirable new album What’s Here What’s Gone is the sound of a folk musician fearlessly converting from melodeon virtuoso to accomplished singer-songwriter.
The album is both a compelling collection of outstanding songs and a bold call to arms, one Daniels has felt driven to make. To immediate effect, too: ‘What’s Here What’s Gone’ although not due for release until October has already been praised far and wide and won the early support of Mark Radcliffe on his BBC Radio 2 folk show.
Daniels, born in Reading but now based in Glasgow, has forged a reputation over the past two decades as one of the folk world’s most respected multi-instrumentalists — both as frontman, on a remarkable series of albums in his own name, and as an in-demand melodeon player for the likes of Ian Anderson, De Dannan, ‘Riverdance’ and as a regular in Cara Dillon’s band. He was also a soloist with the London Philharmonic Orchestra on the Howard Shore soundtracks for ‘Lord of the Rings’ and ‘The Hobbit.’...Read More

Bernie Nelson

“Plainview” -  Very well know songwriter, this brand new album is brilliant, this what an album from a male artist should be all about” -  Marie Crichton BBC Radio Shropshire

Home Town: Dickson, Tennessee Tn
Current Location: Nashville, TN
Award-winning songwriter/Nashville recording artist, Bernie Nelson.

Bernie's songs have sold in access of over 25 million records spanning a 30 year period . His voice and deliverance of one of his songs makes it easy to see why he is so busy performing all over the country as an artist.
Bernie Nelson may appear as a "new name" on country radio as a recording artist but, Nelson is certainly no newcomer to the country music scene. A staple in the music industry and the country music songwriting community, Bernie Nelson is one of the A-list "go-to-guys" for good songs. His voice can be heard behind hit songs scored by some of country music’s biggest names. With more than 25 million records sold, "Bernie Nelson" songs have appeared on projects recorded by the likes of Kenny Chesney, Chris LeDoux, Wynonna, Conway Twitty, Randy Travis, Kris Kristofferson and many more. Bernie scored his first No. 1 with "Daddy Never Was The Cadillac Kind" (Confederate Railroad) which is now a country music standard celebrating "Million-Airplay" status (BMI). He’s most recent successes include cuts by Mark Wills ("Looking For America"), Jimmy Van Zant ("C’Mon Man"/"Unfinished Life"), Montgomery Gentry ("Damn Baby") and Tracy Lawrence ("The Ride"/"Heaven For A While").
See Discography of artists who have cut his songs

Bernie Nelson compositions are like an old pair of boots and a familiar friend–well-worn and comfortable. His plain and simply truthful lyrics are timely yet timeless. His newest unfiltered thought-provoking track, "Scarecrow," from his debut national CD titled BLUE, released Aug 11, 2014 (Inlay ArtCD - CDBaby - UK iTunes - Amazon.com )  has a familiarity that will recall trends of the past while the future forecast calls for "no rain" in the crop fields, in heart and in soul.
