Short Description: Professional Recording Artist, Singer/Songwriter, Entertainer for Pubs Clubs & Weddings,
Top 4 Grand Finalist 2013 Toyota Star Maker, Graphic Designer

Sarah Head was a successful graduate of the 2007 Australian College of Country Music, a 2012 finalist and 2013 grand finalist in Toyota Star Maker, a 2013 MusicOz finalist for the Country/Video/Live Performance and People's Choice categories, and also a top 5 finalist for
'Most Promising Future Star' in the Australian Country Music People's Choice Awards. Sarah has extensive experience performing professionally in pubs, clubs, weddings and events across NSW and southern QLD and developing her talent as a songwriter. In 2011, Sarah released her fresh, modern-country debut EP, GIRL LIKE ME. With her heartfelt lyrics and sensational voice, ‘Nothing Left To Play’ was the first installment from Sarah’s EP.
This debut single was well received in the country music scene and on radio, with the film clip reaching CMC’s Top 50 charts. In 2012, Sarah released her second single, 'Girl Like Me' onto radio and the film clip onto CMC. Sarah has recently returned from a 9 week stay in Nashville, TN where she wrote and recorded her brand new, 6-track EP 'Nothin' But Love'. Sarah is also a tertiary qualified Graphic Designer for individuals and corporate requirements.

Launching her new EP “Nothin’ But Love” at the 2014 Tamworth Country Music Festival, brought a massive musical year full circle for Queensland-based singer songwriter. It’s no surprise she has been receiving such recognition, this 2007 graduate from the Australian College of Country Music has been working diligently on her music for over a decade, honing her skills as both a singer and songwriter and performing at all sorts of venues around the country as a solo artist.
While residing in Nashville, Sarah attended co-writing sessions with the likes of world-class songwriters Lauren Lucas and Ben Daniel, and leading industry icons such as Bob Regan and Byron Hill, and worked under the guidance of her Nashville-based producer B.James Lowry. This EP follows the 2011 release of Sarah’s debut EP, “Girl Like Me”, produced by Simon Johnson at Hillbilly Hut Studios on the Central Coast of Australia.

Watch >> "Me and Jack" (released in the UK on Nov 24, 2014) Choreography by Jo Cotterill (Lee Academy, Australia). Featuring dancers Danni Hegarty and Michael Stone. Directed by Duncan Toombs (Filmery). It was written by Sarah Head and Byron Hill and is the second single released from Sarah's second, Nashville-flavoured EP "Nothin' But Love" (2014). This follows >> "Gypsy Soul" (released in January 2014) which was the first single.

Front Country

”One Kind Word” – ”Really nice album, beautiful ballad on the end, I think they’re really good, very strong bluegrass album” -  Marie Crichton BBC Radio Shropshire

Formed in 2011 as a collective of the Bay Area’s finest young acoustic talent, Adam Roszkiewicz, Jacob Groopman, Jordan Klein, Leif Karlstrom, Melody Walker and Zach Sharpe joined forces to play a monthly gig with friends in San Francisco’s Mission District. They quickly
found a musical rapport that was open to challenging arrangements, unique covers and original songwriting. Since then they have continued to expand their repertoire and push the boundaries of bluegrass on the national scene. In 2012 they won the Rockygrass band competition in Colorado and followed up in 2013 with a win at Telluride becoming the third band in history to win both contests. Also in 2013 lead singer Melody Walker won the Chris Austin Songwriting competition at Merlefest and mandolinist Adam Roszkiewicz was nominated for Grammy for his work with the Modern Mandolin Quartet on their album "Americana".
2013 and early 2014 has seen Front Country break onto the national scene with festival performances at Rockygrass, Old Settlers Music Festival, Wintergrass, Grass Valley Bluegrass Festival and many others along with headlining performances at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco. In addition to performances at Telluride, Summergrass and IBMA's Wide Open Bluegrass Festival, 2014 will see the release of their highly anticipated debut album "Sake of the Sound" in September....Read More
